Considering that your Raindrip system is built to last, you may find the need to expand your system over time, as either your plants grow or you decide to make changes to the landscape. To expand your existing Raindrip System, there are two main considerations: the size of the new area you wish to cover, and the nature of the plants you wish to water. Expanding a traditional Raindrip system: For a system made up of our standard Raindrip components, you’ll need the following:
To determine which watering devices you’ll need and the quantity of each, use our reference guides (below) from the Planning Section of this website. These are divided by plant type. After this, you should have a list of the parts you’ll need for each plant zone. To install, simply insert or attach the additional emitters and/or feeder lines.
Expanding A SimpleDrip System: Expanding a SimpleDrip system is straightforward due to its modular approach – in fact, the most common method of expanding your SimpleDrip system is to add additional feeder lines to the mainline. To add an additional feeder line, simply identify the plant grouping you wish to water from the below list –
