Create a watertight connection in your 1/2 in. distribution line using the 1/2 in. Compression Coupling. The coupler is used to connect two sections of 1/2 in. supply tubing or dripline together. No need to stretch the tubing end over the fitting barbwith the compression fitting, simply insert the tubing end inside the compression ring, where an internal barb compresses into the tube to hold it in place. Made for durability, the compression fitting is made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) treated with UV inhibitors to prevent cracking.
- Works in a variety of areas, from small to large, flat or sloped, to join distribution tubing in your drip irrigation system
- As part of a complete drip irrigation system, 1/2 in. coupling connects 1/2 in. distribution tubing or dripline together, or connects 1/2 in. tubing to other drip irrigation parts to transport water to the area to be irrigated
- Rock the end of tubing back and forth while pushing it into the compression fitting, where an internal barb will compress the tube to hold it in place; for rigid tubing, consider soaking the tube end in hot water or leaving out in the sun
- Periodically check for leaks or damage and replace as needed
- Fits 1/2 in. tubing and dripline with outside diameter of 0.620 in.
