Put a 90 turn in your drip system using the 0.710 in. Compression Elbow. The El fitting joins two sections of 0.710 in. supply tubing or dripline at an angle to prevent kinking. Insert tubing inside the compression ring, where a barb compresses the tube to create a watertight connection. Attach by rocking the tubing back and forth while applying pressure; for tough tubing, soak in hot water or leave out in the sun to make it more pliable. This compression fitting is made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) treated with UV inhibitors to prevent cracking.
- Works in a variety of areas, from small to large, flat or sloped, to join distribution tubing in your drip irrigation system
- As part of a complete drip irrigation system, the 0.710 in. elbow connects 0.710 in. supply tubing or dripline together, or connects 0.710 in. tubing to other drip irrigation parts to transport water to the area to be irrigated
- Rock the end of tubing back and forth while pushing it into the compression fitting, where an internal barb will compress the tube to hold it in place; for rigid tubing, consider soaking the tube end in hot water or leaving out in the sun
- Periodically check for leaks or damage and replace as needed
- Fits 0.710 in. tubing and dripline with outside diameter of 0.710 in.
