Create a transition from your main line pipe or manifold to 1/2 distribution tubing or dripline with the 1/2 in. X 3/4 in. FPT Compression Swivel Adapter. Convenient built-in swivel enables the end of the fitting to turn when attaching or removing it to keep tubing straight and prevent kinking. The fitting threads onto a 3/4 in. MPT connection point on one end and receives 1/2 in. tubing on the other end, where an internal barb compresses the tube for a watertight fit. This compression adapter is made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) treated with UV inhibitors to prevent cracking.
- Connect to 3/4 in. MPT pipe or pipe-threaded component to 1/2 in. distribution tubing or dripline
- As part of a complete drip irrigation system, the 1/2 in. X 3/4 in. FPT Compression Adapter connects 1/2 in. distribution tubing or dripline to MPT pipe or pipe-threaded component to transport water
- Thread the 3/4 in. FPT connection point onto the in. MPT pipe on one end; insert the 1/2 in. tubing into the other end, where an internal barb holds it in place
- Periodically check for leaks or damage and replace as needed
