Deliver a steady flow of water to your plants along the entire line with the 1/2 in. Drip-A-Long Dripline. Tubing comes preassembled with 1 GPH pressure-compensating (PC) emitters inside, spaced 12 in. apart. PC emitters maintain the same output of water and compensate for varying water pressures, uneven terrain and location along the tubing. The emitters have a turbulent flow design which flushes out sediments that can lead to clogging. This dripline, also known as dripperline, uses the industry standard tubing size of 0.520 in. internal diameter (ID) X 0.620 in. outside diameter (OD). Tubing is made of polyethylene treated with UV inhibitors, and the emitters are made of polyethylene and silicone.
- Ideal for watering closely spaced plants, hedges, vegetable gardens, planter boxes, and new plantings of ground cover; its flexibility also works as a watering ring for large pots and containers, and easy loops around large trees
- As part of a complete drip irrigation system, the dripline delivers water along the entire line, and each of the pressure-compensating emitters release the same amount of water no matter where theyre positioned on the line
- To connect to a hose bibb or timer attached to hose bibb use a swivel adapter; to connect to the main line, use 1/2 in. fitting; to connect to PVC line use a PVC slip adapter
- Periodically check for leaks or damage; once or twice a year, remove end closures and flush each circuit until the water runs clear; in cold climate areas, winterize by completely draining the system to prevent lines from damage or splitting
- Tubing outside diameter (OD) is 0.620 in., internal diameter (ID) is 0. 520 in.; connects to hose bibb using a 1/2 in. swivel adapter; connects to a main line using 1/2 in. fitting; connects to PVC line using a 1/2 in. PVC slip adapter
Comes with one 50 ft. coil of 1/2 in. Drip-A-Long Dripline
